With more than than 300 degree programs, the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, prepares students to work and compete in just about every profession. UT strives to develop, implement, support, and assess programs and services that lead to persistence towards graduation. Overall, the six-year undergraduate graduation rate increased from 72.6 percent to 73.5 percent in 2022 while the first year retention rate increased from 88.6 percent to 91.1 percent.
